## About

AwaitIO is a backoffice tool for building internal admin interfaces using TypeScript. Instead of creating a separate frontend, you write async functions that call io methods like io.input.email or io.select.table, which pause execution and show forms in the browser until the user responds. The function then continues with the user's answer.

Each action is defined with a name and handler function. Available components include text and email inputs, date and datetime pickers, single and multiple select dropdowns, table row selection, checkboxes, confirmations, and display elements like tables, links, images and markdown. You can group multiple inputs on one screen or build complex workflows that read from your database, wait for user input, and perform operations based on the response.

There is no separate frontend to build and nothing else to host beyond your existing backend. The demo shows a working backoffice with customer orders, refund actions and user management. AwaitIO runs on the web and works with your existing TypeScript infrastructure.

AwaitIO treats backoffice actions as regular async functions rather than requiring you to build separate frontend interfaces. Each io call pauses the function, shows a control in the browser, and resumes with the user's answer. No frontend code, no additional hosting, and the same software runs free or paid with no feature limits or telemetry.

Problem
Building internal backoffice tools requires writing both backend logic and a separate frontend interface, doubling development work and hosting complexity.

Solution
Write backoffice actions as async TypeScript functions that pause and ask the browser for input using io method calls, eliminating the need for separate frontend code.
