## About

BaseTab replaces your browser's new tab page with a customizable workspace. You get widgets for bookmarks, calendar, Gmail, GitHub, Google Docs, Spotify, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and other services all on one screen. Add a clock with multiple timezones, weather, crypto tickers, news feeds, notes, to-do lists, Kanban boards, a Pomodoro timer, whiteboard and file storage.

The dashboard syncs across your devices and lets you embed custom widgets or any website. You can search the web directly from the tab, check your Gmail inbox, view Google Calendar events, track daily habits, or start a workout program. Google integrations include Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms and Vids.

BaseTab works in all major browsers as a browser extension. The free plan includes core features; paid plans unlock more widgets and customization. Enterprise plans are available on request.

BaseTab stands out by combining a browser new tab page with a workspace dashboard that pulls together productivity widgets, AI assistants, and Google integrations all in one place. Rather than switching between tabs and apps, you get quick access to your calendar, Gmail inbox, GitHub repos, ChatGPT, notes, tasks, and custom embeds without leaving your starting point. The widget library spans AI tools, finance trackers, time management, and file storage, letting you build a personalized dashboard that syncs across browsers.

Problem
Switching between tabs and apps wastes time and breaks focus when you need to check email, calendar, notes, code repos or AI assistants throughout your day.

Solution
BaseTab puts your most-used tools and information on your new tab page so you see them instantly without opening new windows or searching for bookmarks.
