## About

Develop Log is a color grading app for iPhone and iPad that works with Apple Log and DJI D-Log M video. It uses the camera maker's official restore LUTs to convert flat Log footage to standard color, then lets you apply film looks and make adjustments in the order professional colorists work: primary grading across the whole frame, secondary color corrections for specific areas or people, and texture effects like grain and vignette.

The app includes an AI colorist powered by Claude that grades step by step. You describe the feel you want or provide a reference image, and it measures the frame's luma, clipping, skin tones and white balance before making changes. Every adjustment appears in a chat so you can see the reasoning, and you can undo or fine-tune any slider. Controls stay out of view on the small screen, with looks shown on a film strip and one dial per tool.

You can grade once in SDR and have the HDR version follow automatically, with brighter midtones and real highlight headroom. Export at any resolution and frame rate, trim, crop and rotate, and turn any moment into a Live Photo with your grade applied. White balance reads Kelvin values from camera metadata.

Develop Log uses official restore LUTs from Apple and DJI matched to your camera model, and structures the grading pipeline like DaVinci Resolve with primary, secondary and texture layers. The AI colorist measures the frame first before adjusting, shows its work in a chat, and uses only the app's own tools so changes remain editable.

Problem
Grading Log video on a phone is difficult without proper tools, and most apps lack the professional workflow structure or official color science from camera makers.

Solution
Develop Log provides official restore LUTs, a multi-layer grading pipeline matching professional software, and an AI assistant that grades methodically while keeping all changes editable.
