## About

PMVW (Poor Man's Video Wall) turns a single Apple TV into a multiview display, letting you stream up to four sources simultaneously over your home network. Sources can be web pages, dashboards, security camera feeds, HDMI devices like cable boxes, or games. Each tile streams at up to 1080p and you can adjust quality, volume, and latency per source independently.

You run the sender app on a Mac or Windows PC, which captures and encodes video. The free receiver app installs on your Apple TV (tvOS 17 or later) or iPad (iPadOS 17.6 or later). Both devices need to be on the same local network. Registration happens at tile.pmvw.app where you generate a pair code to enter on your TV, then select which sources to display.

Latency is adjustable from a few milliseconds on wired networks to 250ms by default, tuned for live sports and real-time monitoring. You can hear multiple streams at once and focus audio on any single source. The Basic plan covers all four-stream capabilities; Pro adds live sports and financial ticker overlays plus multi-receiver support to send one source to multiple Apple TVs.

PMVW turns a single Apple TV into a four-stream video wall without enterprise hardware or costs. Unlike traditional video wall setups, it uses devices you already own, a Mac or Windows PC as the source and an Apple TV or iPad as the receiver, to display any combination of web pages, dashboards, cameras, games, or HDMI devices at up to 1080p per tile over your home network. The receiver app requires no login; you simply pair it with a code from tile.pmvw.app and select your sources.

Problem
Watching multiple video sources at once requires either multiple TVs, expensive enterprise AV systems, or multiple cable boxes and subscriptions.

Solution
PMVW combines up to four streams on a single Apple TV using your existing PC and network, supporting any source from HDMI devices to web dashboards.
