## About

RepairAmigo is repair shop management software that runs as a virtual machine on a computer in your shop. It handles device intake with printed receipts, instant pricing from your price list, repair workflow with custom statuses, live parts inventory that deducts automatically as repairs are saved, cash management with register and safe balances, and warranty tracking linked to the original repair. The software covers the whole day from front counter to back office: customer check-in, technician updates, parts tracking, and daily sales reports.

You download and install it once on your own network. Returning customers are found by phone number and their details fill in automatically. Technicians update tickets with repair status and comments. Parts and screens are deducted from inventory when a repair is saved, so you see low and negative stock before it costs you a sale. Optional customer text notifications go through your own Twilio account.

The free version runs with built-in crypto miners that use up to 90% of the VM's processor while the software is running. Pay once inside the app (currently US $99) to turn the miners off. Both versions get all shop features: tickets, intake, inventory, receipts and warranty tracking. Paid versions are eligible for new version upgrades.

RepairAmigo runs as a locked-down Linux virtual machine on your own computer, not in the cloud. Your data stays on your shop network with no ports to open on your router. It's built to keep out common Windows viruses and ransomware. You can back up the entire VM and run it on another computer as easily as you installed it.
