## About

Superframes is a video editor for creators posting on TikTok, YouTube Reels and similar platforms. You drop in a clip, describe the edit you want in plain English, and get the result back in seconds. The editor handles reframing, captions, colour grading, audio cleanup, speed changes, face blur and over 40 other tools, all controlled through a chat box rather than traditional menus.

Every frame stays on your machine. The software decodes, edits and exports locally in your browser or desktop app, so your footage never touches a server. This means no upload wait, no progress bar, and the editor keeps working if your wifi drops. Auto-captions run on-device using Whisper in 19 languages, auto-detected with no audio uploaded.

You can export to preset formats for TikTok, Reels, Shorts and other platforms in one tap. The desktop app for macOS and Windows includes a screen recorder that captures your screen, microphone and camera on separate tracks, so you can move or delete the camera bubble after recording. A free tier lets you edit and preview with every tool, plus one free export.

Superframes runs entirely offline on your device rather than uploading to servers. The developer is an independent maker in India with no venture backing, so there is no incentive to build upload pipelines or use your footage elsewhere. Support is answered by the person who wrote the code.

Problem
Most web video editors upload your footage to the cloud, creating delays, privacy concerns for unreleased work, and dependency on internet connection.

Solution
Superframes decodes, edits and exports video locally on your machine using AI, so footage never leaves your device and editing works fully offline.
