## About

Voxdub is dubbing software built for adapters, translators and voice actors who need to sync dialogue to video. You work with a rythmo band (a visual timeline showing dialogue segments by character) where you can cut, merge and name loops for rehearsal. The editor shows frame-accurate lip sync with ultra-smooth scrolling up to 240Hz, and you can open a source language band locked above your target band to adapt line by line without switching views.

You export video in multiple formats (16:9 for YouTube, vertical 9:16 for TikTok, up to 4K at 60fps), along with a voiceless MP4 that strips the original dialogue, session stems in BWF, and subtitles in SRT, ASS or DETX. The software also detects subtitles automatically and generates a croisillé grid and call sheet for French dubbing studios.

Voxdub runs as a web app or desktop application on Mac (Apple Silicon and Intel) and Windows. You can invite collaborators as viewers or editors, and every save is versioned so you can revert to earlier states of your band.

Voxdub combines rythmo band editing with translation adaptation tools, letting you view source and target language bands side by side. It includes automatic subtitle detection, voiceless audio export, croisillé grid generation and DETX export built in for professional dubbing workflows.

Problem
Dubbing professionals and translators need to sync dialogue precisely to video while managing multiple language versions and preparing materials for studios, but existing tools make this workflow fragmented and time-consuming.

Solution
Voxdub provides frame-accurate lip sync, side-by-side language bands, automatic subtitle detection, and one-click export of all studio-ready formats including voiceless audio and cross-reference grids.
