About
DeckDesh is a free WordPress plugin for sharing investor pitch decks as private PDF links on your own domain, with view tracking and no third-party account required. Install it on your WordPress site (version 6.0 or later), upload a PDF, copy a unique unguessable link, and send it to investors. The deck opens inside your website with your header, footer and navigation visible, keeping readers on your domain after they finish.
Each link is a one-off combination of a 10-digit random ID and a 128-bit token that cannot be guessed or found by search engines. You can set expiry dates, revoke links by moving documents to trash, and track when the deck was opened and which viewer actions occurred. The plugin stores files in a protected private directory on your server, so everything stays under your control with no separate subscription or service to maintain.
DeckDesh keeps your deck on your domain instead of a third-party service like DocSend or Brieflink. The viewer uses your website's design and navigation, so investors see your branding and can explore your site after reading. Links are cryptographically unguessable and cannot be shared as permanent forwards.
- Problem
- Sharing decks through file-sharing services puts your most important document on someone else's domain inside their interface, with no way to know if it was read or track engagement.
- Solution
- DeckDesh hosts decks on your WordPress site with private unguessable links, view tracking, expiry controls, and a viewer that matches your website's design.
