What’s New Today

Terms of use

The agreement between you and What’s New Today: what you may do here, what we do with listings and votes, and what paying us does and does not buy.

Last updated · In effect from 25 October 2026

On this page

The short version

  • Listings publish after automated checks. You confirm what you submit is accurate and yours to list.
  • Votes are 25% of rank and capped. Trading or buying votes gets votes removed and can end in a ban.
  • Nothing you buy changes rank, and we never promise rankings, traffic or SEO.
  • We can hold or remove a listing that breaks the Guidelines, and we tell you why.

This summary helps you read the page. The numbered sections below are what applies.

1.Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Ashish Sharma (“What’s New Today”, “we”), an independent developer in India. By using whatisnew.today, creating an account or buying anything from us, you accept them.

2.Who can use What’s New Today

You must be 18 or older. If you act for a company, you confirm you may bind it to these terms. Reading the site needs no account.

3.Your account

One person, one account. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address, so keep that inbox secure; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at help@whatisnew.today if you think someone else has used it.

4.Listings you submit

Listings publish after automated checks, without a human review first. By submitting a listing you confirm that you made the product or may list it, that what you write is accurate, and that you have the rights to the text and images you send.

You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to show, excerpt and share your listing, including any launch story, demo video link and tags, on What’s New Today, in our newsletter and in our social posts, for as long as it is listed and for archived weekly boards after that.

Free listings require the What’s New Today badge on the product’s site. We check for it every day; the effect of a missing badge is described on How we verify.

5.Editorial decisions

We decide what we publish and how it is ranked, using the published method on How we rank. We may hold, unpublish, re-categorise or mark a listing discontinued, and we may edit a listing for clarity after telling you. We tell you the reason for any hold or removal.

6.Votes

Votes are a small part of our ranking (25%, capped), weighted by account history, so no amount of voting can buy a position.

You may vote for any product you are not involved in making, and tell your audience you launched on What’s New Today. You may not:

  • ask for votes in exchange for anything: money, credits, features, follow-backs or votes in return;
  • run or join a voting group, exchange or bot that coordinates votes;
  • create more than one account, or use someone else’s, to vote;
  • vote for a product you made, work for or are paid to promote;
  • buy or sell votes or accounts.

When we see this, we remove the votes, may take the launch off the weekly board and may close the accounts involved. Repeated or paid manipulation leads to a permanent ban of the maker account and the product’s domain, and we may say so on the product page.

8.Products we do not list

Some products cannot be listed or advertised at all. The list is in the Guidelines and is part of these terms.

9.Ending and bans

You can delete your account at any time from your settings. Your listings stay published as a record unless you remove them first. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; the steps are in the Guidelines, and you can appeal once.

10.Disclaimers and liability

What’s New Today lists products made by other people. We do not endorse them, and a listing or a Verified mark is not a guarantee of quality or safety. The service is provided as it is.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100, whichever is more. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes go to the courts of India, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them locally.

12.Changes

We date every change below and email account holders about material changes at least 30 days before they apply. Questions go to help@whatisnew.today.

13.Contact and grievances

Grievance officer, under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020: Ashish Sharma, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560100, India, help@whatisnew.today. The same address handles questions about your personal data.

We acknowledge a complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days. For a problem with a listing, use Report on its page; reports and decisions are public on Reports.
