Dola AI

Dola AI is a local-first AI assistant for Unreal Engine developers on Windows, macOS and Linux. It runs as a desktop app paired with an Unreal Editor plugin, connecting to your live project to read code and drive the editor directly. The Blueprint agent edits nodes and wires from chat, compiles and saves changes, then reports exactly what was modified. The C++ coder agent writes UCLASS, UPROPERTY and UFUNCTION code grounded in real engine symbols via semantic search across your project, skipping documentation lookups.

Specialist agents handle editor automation: spawn actors, apply materials, run Play In Editor sessions, and report results. A separate modeling mode uses Babylon JS in an in-app viewport to chat with live meshes, inspect named parts and export GLB files. The live Unreal bridge means agents work with your actual open project, not guesswork.

You can use Dola free with your own API key from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Groq, xAI, Mistral, Cerebras or a custom endpoint, paying those providers directly. Paid monthly plans add Dola-hosted models with included credits.
