HonestFarewell

HonestFarewell is a price-transparency site for funeral, cremation and end-of-life costs in the US. Search your city or ZIP code to see prices from multiple funeral homes side by side, taken directly from each home's General Price List and dated. You can compare up to four homes at once, see each home's license status from the state funeral board, and request a callback from the homes you choose, all without creating an account or providing your email.

For those planning ahead, you can record your wishes and preferences without signing up or paying anything. The site shows what direct cremation costs in your area, from the median price down to the lowest and highest options available. Every price includes the funeral home name, which price list it came from, and when it was last checked.

HonestFarewell is independently owned and not affiliated with funeral groups, cemetery operators or insurers. The site has checked over 40,000 price lists and ranks homes by price or distance, with no paid placement in the rankings.
