About
Jarvis is a desktop AI assistant that sees your screen on demand and connects to the apps you already use. Press Cmd+/ on Mac or Ctrl+/ on Windows and Linux to summon a floating bar over your current application. When you ask a question about an email, spreadsheet, design, or document, Jarvis captures a screenshot for visual context, answers in place, then discards the image. It reaches over 30 connected apps including Gmail, Slack, Notion, Linear, GitHub, Google Calendar, Figma, and Microsoft 365 through OAuth with explicit permissions.
Jarvis remembers context across sessions and uses frontier models from Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google for routing queries based on task complexity. Voice mode lets you double-tap Ctrl to speak naturally, interrupting mid-sentence like a conversation. Actions in connected apps wait for your approval before sending, posting, or deleting anything.
The app runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux with one account covering all platforms. User data stays in the EU, application servers run in the US, and model inference happens with Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google under no-training terms. Prompts, screenshots, and connector data are never used to train AI models, with OAuth tokens encrypted using AES-256-GCM.
Jarvis combines screen capture on demand with 30+ app connectors and persistent memory in a floating hotkey interface rather than a chat tab. It routes queries between frontier models based on task complexity, includes voice mode with interruption, and keeps all user data in the EU with no training on prompts or screenshots.
- Problem
- People switch between chat windows and their work, copying context manually. Desktop AI assistants lack visual understanding of what's on screen and don't connect to the apps where work actually happens.
- Solution
- Jarvis captures your screen on demand and connects to Gmail, Slack, Notion, Linear, GitHub, and more through OAuth. One hotkey summons it over any app, and it remembers context across sessions without requiring manual copying.
