MONARC PRO

MONARC PRO is a desktop video editor for macOS and Windows where you describe the edit you want and the AI builds a real timeline on your machine that you can keep working on by hand. The whole editor runs locally and is free to download; you only pay credits when you generate new content like images, video or voice. You can tell it to find specific moments in your footage, add captions in 99+ languages, apply color grading, remove green screens, track motion, stabilize shaky video, or build a cut from your script.

The editor handles the slow parts: transcription and search work on your machine with no credits, captions burn in or export as SRT and VTT files, and you can scrub 4K footage straight from the camera or use proxies. Audio tools let you fade, duck and automate per clip. You export to H.264, HEVC, ProRes, VP9 or stills, up to 4K on your own GPU.

The free plan gives you 200 credits a month and 2 GB of cloud storage. Creator costs $12 a month for 2,500 credits and 50 GB storage. Pro is $29 a month with 8,000 credits and 250 GB storage. Team is $79 a month with 25,000 credits and 1 TB storage. Unused credits carry over each month, and you can top up without changing plan.
