About
nonolingo is a Mac app that corrects your English in any text field without leaving the app you're using. It works in Slack, Gmail, Notion, Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, LinkedIn and other tools where you type. Press Tab after you stop typing and nonolingo shows you a corrected version of your message, plus a native-sounding rewrite.
The app lives in your menu bar and offers several modes. Use the fix to correct grammar, tense and articles. Use the native rewrite to get a version that sounds like a person rather than a translation. You can also get suggested replies to a message, translate text while seeing tone and meaning, or write in any language and have it come out as natural English.
nonolingo runs on macOS 14 or later on both Apple silicon and Intel Macs. You can save phrases as snippets and recall them with a keyboard shortcut. The app asks for accessibility permission on first run but needs no account or card to start.
nonolingo stays in your current app instead of making you copy text to another tool and back. It works in any text box across Mac apps and offers both grammar fixes and native rewrites. The free plan resets daily with no time limit, and paid plans are one-time purchases that do not auto-renew.
