Vocal Separator splits a single mixed audio file into two tracks: isolated vocals and instrumental backing. Upload an MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A or OGG file up to 10 minutes and 100 MB, and the tool processes it to extract singing and music separately. You can listen to both tracks in the browser before downloading them as WAV files.

The free version allows two jobs per day per browser with no sign-up required. Results download within 55 minutes of processing. For larger batches or longer files, a Minute Pack offers 90 processing minutes valid for 12 months, allowing up to 10 files per batch and 250 MB per file, with results kept private for seven days.

Vocal Separator also offers an experimental on-device separator that processes audio locally without uploading, limited to 5 minutes and 50 MB on desktop. Use cases include creating karaoke backing tracks, extracting acapellas for study, or preparing rehearsal material.
